A source has said Meghan Markle is attempting to mend her broken relationship with Princess Kate.
Royal author Tom Quinn has said that Meghan is "genuinely worried about Kate's health" and has reached out to the Princess.
It comes as the fallout from the Mother’s Day photograph row, where Kate publicly took the blame for the family photograph released by Kensington Palace on Sunday as she issued an apology for the "confusion."
Six of the world's top picture agencies including the Press Association and AFP pulled the photo from their wires and libraries amid concern that the "source has manipulated the image."

Quinn told The Mirror: "Meghan has reached out several times via back channels to Kensington Palace in an attempt to see if there is any chance of getting on better terms with Kate.
"This is definitely partly because Meghan is genuinely worried about Kate's health, but she also sees a chance to lose her permanently angry-at-the-royals image.
"Kate won't want to be seen to rebuff these overtures, but she will be taking advice and the advice so far, I hear, is definitely - don't take the risk.
"The feeling in Kensington Palace is that if Meghan's attempts to extend an olive branch are welcomed, it will just re-open old wounds."

Speaking at the SXSW festival, Meghan she opened up about how social media can be a "dangerous" place. She told the audience: "You just think about that and really wrap your head around why people would be so hateful. It's not catty, it's cruel."
Responding to Meghan's remarks, commentator Lizzie Cundy told GB News: "I get plenty of them, I just don't go scrolling, reading every one and taking it to heart.
"Meghan really should take a leaf out of her own book. She's talking about humanity and being kind, which she's not actually shown much kindness to our Kate, who's going through it, really not well at the minute, and had that huge operation.
"She's not shown it to her own family. She's not shown it to her father, who's had a stroke and had a heart attack. She's not even been to see him. He's not even seen the grandchildren. So where's the kindness there, Meghan? That's what I want to ask."
It comes as the Duchess of Sussex has hired a new PR guru to tackle a "popularity problem" in the UK.
Speaking to GBN America, royal correspondent Pandora Forsyth said: "I think it is highly unlikely [Meghan can rebuild her UK image], due to the fact that she's married Harry and together they have annoyed the British public.
"As well as this they've annoyed the British media."
