GB News host Ben Leo has made a shock revelation about Meghan Markle on GB News, following accusations of "plagiarism" against the royal by children's author Meg Elliott.
The Duchess of Sussex has been called out for allegedly having "striking similarities" between her now cancelled Netflix show "Pearl" and Elliott's book, called Pearl Power.
Meghan Markle was sent "legal letters" by Elliott in 2021, before streaming giants Netflix announced the cancellation of Pearl in May 2022.
Elliott's lawyers wrote to the duchess in July 2021, stating: "The similarities between your proposed animation series and my client's work appear to be too many and too striking to be mere coincidence."

Discussing the allegations on GB News, host Ben Leo claimed he has been "sitting on this story for a long time", claiming he has "emails from a few years ago" from the author herself.
As Editor-at-Large at the Mail on Sunday Charlotte Griffiths recalled the accusations, Ben admitted he has been "sitting on the emails" for several years.
Ben explained: "I knew about this story a couple of years ago, and I've been sitting on the emails, I think probably from the same author. I have emails from somebody who sent me a plan of her own idea for film transcripts, the scripts and everything, which looked very, very similar to Pearl.
"This lady sent it to Meghan and her team at Archewell and never heard back. And then suddenly the the sort of brief for Pearl came out and this lady who I spoke to said, 'goodness me, that's pretty uncanny'."

YouTube / GettyNoting why he chose not to take the story to air, Ben revealed that the lady who was emailing him "didn't want to upset Meghan" or Archewell by speaking out on it.
Ben added: "This is a massive surprise to me. I'm going to have to check my emails and get this story back out. But I've been sitting on this story for a long, long time.
"And the lady didn't want to do the story. Basically, she didn't want to upset Meghan, didn't want to upset Archewell, and it's just been sat in my inbox for a couple of years, but I've got the transcripts still - maybe we can regurgitate it."
Responding to Ben's revelation, Griffiths joked: "You missed the scoop then!"
Griffiths told GB News that it is likely that Meghan's Netflix deal will 'not be removed'

Sharing more details on the case, Griffiths told GB News: "Of course, any moment now, we're going to find out whether her Netflix deal is going to go ahead and be renewed. I personally just can't see how it will be.
"And there's also been revelations in the Mail on Sunday about how one of her ideas, an animated series called Pearl, looks very likely that it got dropped because it was lifted from the author who claimed that Meghan plagiarised her book. So it doesn't feel like the Netflix deal is going smoothly."
Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, Elliott claimed: "What saddened me most is that my objection was never acknowledged - I would have loved to have contributed and collaborated."
