Meghan Markle is reportedly furious at the "suspicious timing" of a new major brand deal, after it was handed to one of the new stars of The Crown.
Meg Bellamy, who plays Princess Kate, Princess of Wales in the last season of the hit Netflix show, has become the new face of Dior, a deal which sources claim was lined up for the Duchess of Sussex.
Sources from the Sussex camp have told US publication Deadline that conversations were "shut down" by Dior after the royal couple had begun to build a relationship with the fashion house.
Prince Harry had previously worn a Dior suit to his father King Charles' Coronation in May, before Queen Camilla was spotted in an outfit from the designer.

Prince Harry and Meghan have told their sources that they are blaming the Royal Family and their "vendetta to block their big brand deals".
The Duke and Duchess also told UK publisher the Daily Express that the royal couple were "in talks with high profile brands" that didn't lead to anything, but "should have" resulted in a deal.
Speaking to GB News, Showbiz and Royal Reporter Kinsey Schofield told host Mark Dolan that Bellamy securing the Dior deal over Meghan Markle would "rub salt into the wound", given the role she plays in The Crown.
Meghan Markle and Princess Kate were rumoured to have had several disagreements whilst they were both senior working royals, before Harry and Meghan stepped down in 2020.
Schofield revealed: "Harry and Meghan believe that the Royal Family is behind the vendetta blocking their big brand deals.
"They've been in talks with high profile brands that didn't lead to anything but should have, a source told the Express. Those brands then actively courted other members of the Royal Family.
Schofield continued: "One example is Dior. The source said that Harry wore a Dior suit to the Coronation, and the Sussexes were starting to build a relationship with that fashion house.
"Then all the sudden Camilla starts wearing it. Those conversations are shut down for the Sussexes."

Detailing the further feud between Meghan Markle and Princess Kate, Schofield added: "And to add salt to the open wound, the actress playing Kate Middleton, Meg Bellamy in The Crown was announced as the new face of the brand.
"Rumours were circulating that Meghan was becoming the new face of the brand, so that source is stressing that it's all very suspicious timing."
