The Duchess of Sussex has defended her use of edible flower sprinkles, joking that she had been portrayed as "a little fairy tossing them around all the time".
Speaking at the fifth annual Time100 summit in New York, Meghan addressed the public reaction to her liberal use of the decorative garnish.
The Duchess, dressed in a tan trouser suit and crisp white shirt, laughed off what she described as an "obsession" with her sprinkling habits.
Her comments came during an on-stage conversation with Jessica Sibley, the chief executive of TIME.

"Oh my gosh! You'd think I'm a little fairy tossing them around all the time," the Duchess said, addressing the reaction to her flower sprinkles.
"The obsession that has come with flower sprinkles. Of all things we could be talking about..." she continued.
Meghan explained the purpose behind her fondness for the decorative garnish featured throughout her Netflix series, "With Love, Meghan".

"Of all the things that happened, I never would have imagined at this point I'd be so happy and free, and I really do," she told the audience.
