The mystery behind Meghan Markle's missing £156k engagement ring has been explained by an insider.
Last week, the Duchess of Sussex was seen without her ring in a photo posted on Instagram.
The picture raised concern among some royal fans as Meghan and Harry have spent time apart throughout August.
In a story on Instagram, Meghan looked to have removed her diamond engagement ring which usually sits above her gold wedding band and diamond eternity ring.
The Duchess was pictured beaming alongside her friends Kadi Lee and Cleo Wade.

Lee, who has the Instagram handle Highbrow Hippie posted the picture of the trio on her story.
One fan wrote: "I wonder what has happened to the engagement ring?"
Another said: "She looks so well. Perhaps her ring was sent for resizing."
Despite Meghan's engagement ring not appearing in the Instagram snap it should not be too long until she is reunited with it.
A source told Page Six that the six-figure ring is currently "being fixed".
The insider did not specify what repairs were taking place on the ring.
It comes as a bus tour advertised as the 'Royal Celebrity Tour of Los Angeles and Montecito' is being led by a friend of Meghan Markle's father Thomas Markle.
Karl Larsen listed the tour on Tripening with the description: "I’m the world-famous celebrity photographer Karl Larsen, a best friend of Thomas Markle (Meghan’s father) and the guy with a stunning exclusive portfolio of pictures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle together in Montecito."
However, the concept of the tour has seen a fierce backlash over privacy concerns.
Larsen has clarified that he does not plan to drive past the Sussexes' mansion in Montecito as part of the tour.

He said: "I have no intentions of going past Harry and Meghan's house for that reason, just where she [Meghan] grew up.
"I want to have the tour be available where she grew up.
"We're going to go to Montecito but just places they go to, restaurants they go to."
Tripening has now removed the advert from its platform.
