The fresh claims come after GB News was exclusively told that allegations about the duchess's attitude to her staff were 'fabrications'
Meghan Markle is facing "immense challenges" as her staff are "fleeing due to a devastating environment", according to a PR expert.
The Hollywood Reporter quoted an unnamed current senior staffer suggesting the Duchess of Sussex is like a "dictator in high heels".
Meghan's team mounted a counterattack in Us Weekly, with staff members going on the record to defend her, and some describing past memories of a warm supportive relationship.
These come after longstanding allegations that Meghan bullied two PAs out of Kensington Palace in 2018, which she has long denied.
Eric Schiffer, chair of Reputation Management Consultants, told Newsweek the saga would be damaging to Meghan despite the counter-narrative.
He said: "Meghan's challenges are immense because this now is a pattern of behaviour outside of Britain that calls into question a level of horrible incompetence in leadership.
"She is now seen as the enemy of staffers who are fleeing because of the devastating environment.
"None of which is good for Meghan when she is still recovering from the reputational damage from across the pond.
The allegations that 'everyone's terrified' of the duchess came to light in The Hollywood Reporter

"These are current allegations. What it says is that she's either painfully deluded about her own behaviour or there's a series of people who are choosing to lie to reporters which doesn't seem to ring as true.
"This scandalabra she's facing is not just a smoking crater on her reputation but now begins to draw into question her judgement and her ability to control herself and her behaviour."
The Hollywood Reporter's editor told Access Hollywood that the magazine had spoken to 12 employees and that one of them was a current senior staffer.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry founded their charity foundation Archewell in 2020
Archewell FoundationThe Archewell source confirmed to GB News that the "Duchess Difficult" moniker had never been used.
They said: "These quotes were fabricated by someone lacking knowledge of our company.
"The duke and duchess work from Montecito, and we're based in Hollywood.
"They likely think we're all in the same office and that this quote would fly, but the circumstances don't even allow for it. If she's 'marching around' and 'barking orders', no Archewell employee could factually claim that... It's total nonsense."
