Meghan Markle has been advised to focus her attention on "California progressives" rather than attempting to win over British monarchists.
Edward Coram James, the CEO of Go Up, shared his exclusive insights with GB News regarding the Duchess of Sussex's social media strategy.
James suggests Meghan should concentrate on audiences who already support her, rather than trying to appeal to everyone.
The advice comes as Meghan continues to divide opinion among her 2.6 million Instagram followers.

Her content regularly generates mixed reactions from the public, with some embracing her approach whilst others remain critical.
"No matter what she does, people will have an opinion," James explained to the People's Channel.
The PR expert pointed to a specific example of content that generated divided responses.
"Her sharing the Billie Eilish T-shirt merch earlier this year was sweet, but unfortunately, half the internet rolled their eyes," he noted.
In the video posted from her Montecito home, Meghan revealed how she secured signed merchandise from Grammy award winner Billie Eilish for a 15-year-old fan.
InstagramThis incident occurred after the Los Angeles wildfires when Meghan met a victim who had lost her Billie Eilish T-shirt.
The Duchess took action by connecting with the pop singer directly. She subsequently received merchandise at her Montecito home to give to the wildfire victim.
Meghan shared her success on Instagram, saying: "Huge thank you, Billie Eilish, this is going to mean so much to her, and honestly, to Adam Levine and Behati, you guys helped me get this over the line."
She also acknowledged broader support efforts: "And to everyone who is showing up for people in big and small ways to get through what's happened in California, just thank you so much."
Despite the seemingly positive gesture, the story received a mixed reception online. This pattern of divided public opinion has become characteristic of the Duchess's social media presence.
James suggests this polarised reaction is something Meghan should acknowledge in her communications strategy.
"People are either all-in on Meghan or completely against her," James continued in his comments.
LATEST ROYAL NEWS:
This polarisation, according to the PR expert, should inform her communications strategy: "So she needs to lean into the audience that does support her California progressives, young activists, and people who genuinely admire her philanthropy."
Rather than attempting to win over critics, James suggests Meghan would be better served by embracing her existing supporters.
This approach would allow her to build on established goodwill rather than fighting an uphill battle with detractors.
