Meghan Markle has issued a fresh message to fans following the release of episode two of her new podcast.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, took to Instagram to show her appreciation to listeners who praised the royal.


Meghan welcomed Reshma Saujani, founder of Girls Who Code and Moms First, to the April 15 episode of her podcast "Confessions of a Female Founder".

She linked to the Lemonada Media project, writing a short message for her 2.7 million followers.

Meghan said: "So happy you're enjoying #COAFF this week!

"Listen to the newest episode anywhere you get your podcasts! Out today :)"

The Duchess of Sussex later responded to the reaction from fans who had sent messages of praise for the mother-of-two.

Uploading four positive responses, Meghan shared the pink heart emoji to her Instagram story.

Saujani and the duchess began the podcast by reminiscing about their initial meeting at Kensington Palace in 2018, when Meghan was pregnant with her son Archie.

One particularly thankful fan described the California-based royal as "the most powerful woman" and hailed her an "inspiration"

They wrote: "I listened to your podcast, you are the most powerful woman I have seen.

The messages follow backlash from UK publications, with the Telegraph, Guardian and the Times all rating the new venture as two stars or less.
