Meghan Markle's As Ever raspberry spread has come under scrutiny after some customers complained about its runny consistency.
The product retails for over £10 and sold out within 30 minutes of its launch last Wednesday.
Meghan's product is officially labelled a "spread" containing raspberries, organic pure cane sugar, organic lemon juice concentrate, and fruit pectin.
The duchess cannot refer to the product as jam, as, according to FDA regulations, jam must contain at least 45 per cent fruit and 55 per cent sugar.

The Duchess herself acknowledged the consistency on the As Ever website, stating the spread "is crafted with a fluid texture so it can be drizzled, spread, poured and enjoyed for so much more than your morning toast".
Social media users were quick to criticise, with one commenting: "That's not a spread or a jam or a jelly. It's goopy and runny."
Another added: "Is the reason Meghan calls it spread because it's so runny?"
Despite the criticism, Meghan's products sold out within half an hour of going live last week.

The business venture comes just weeks after the duchess unveiled her new TV show, "With Love, Meghan" on Netflix.
The brand was initially launched as American Riviera Orchard before Megahn executed a U-turn, rebranding the product to As Ever.
