Peter Phillips and Lindsay Wallace split up after dating since 2021
Lindsay Wallace will remain in the royal inner circle despite her split from Princess Anne’s son.
Peter Phillips began dating his old friend in 2021 following his divorce from Autumn Kelly.
The pair have gone their separate ways now as the relationship has “ran its course,” according to a source in the Sun.
Wallace and Phillips were friends long before they began dating and Lindsay also has connections with other members of the Royal Family.
Wallace went to school with Zara Tindall, Peter’s sister; they both attended Gordonstoun, a fee-paying school in Scotland.
The source said: "They were friends before their relationship blossomed.
"But Peter and Lindsay have gone their separate ways as the relationship simply ran its course."
Wallace was also among the guests at Zara’s wedding to rugby star Mike Tindall in 2011.
Furthermore, Lindsay was understood to have attended the double christening of Phillip’s nephew, Lucas Tindall and his second cousin, August Brooksbank.
She has been pictured at many royal events with Princess Anne’s son who is close to King Charles.
It is understood that Phillips and Wallace became close after both of their marriages broke down.
In 2022, a source close to the couple told the Telegraph: “They were friends first because Lindsay is very close to Zara but then the relationship developed into something much closer. They are really happy together.”
LATEST ROYAL NEWS:
Tatler also reported that Wallace met the late Queen Elizabeth after a shooting party at Windsor.
Phillip’s ex-wife, Autumn Kelly, also still has a good relationship with members of the Royal Family and in the summer, she was pictured at a charity golf tournament with Zara.
Phillips shares two children, Savannah, 13 and Isla, 12 with his ex-wife, Autumn.
As both Zara and Peter rejected the Queen's offer of a royal title, his children also do not have royal titles.
