Lady Louise Windsor is set for a Royal Family blow, according to a royal commentator, as Princess Kate's children will "soon be adults themselves".
The 20-year-old daughter of Prince Edward is currently a student at the University of St Andrews, and many commentators have questioned whether or not she will take up royal duties after her graduation.
The Duchess of Edinburgh, Louise's mother, previously spoke about her children likely having to work in the future.
She told The Times in 2020: “We try to bring them up with the understanding they are very likely to have to work for a living.
“Hence we made the decision not to use HRH titles. They have them and can decide to use them from 18, but I think it’s highly unlikely.”
Luana Ribeira, the founder of Dauntless PR, spoke exclusively to GB News about the likelihood of Louise taking on royal duties.
She said: "Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh has spoken in the past about how both Lady Louise and her brother have been brought up with the expectation that they will be likely to need to work for a living.
"While she may be asked to do some official duties in the future, it seems unlikely she will ever play a large role in the Royal Family.
"Especially as the Prince and Princess of Wales’s children will soon become adults themselves."
Kate and William's children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, are most likely to take up official duties after they have turned 18 and/or finished their education.
Ribeira also spoke about the possibility of Louise moving abroad, similar to her cousin Princess Eugenie, 34, who lives in Portugal with her husband Jack Brooksbank.
She added: "As a minor royal, I see no reason why Lady Louise couldn’t move abroad if she wanted to.

"After all, Princess Eugenie now lives in Portugal with her husband and children.
"If anything, a life abroad could make things even easier for Lady Louise to keep a low profile if that is what she chooses to do."
Louise has expressed a wish to join the military in the future, as she is currently a member of the St Andrews University Officers' Training Corps.
According to reports, the 20-year-old has "fallen in love" with the Army Cadets.
