King Charles III's niece is currently at university
Lady Louise Windsor "has been given time" to decide about becoming a working royal, GB News has exclusively been told.
The 20-year-old is currently studying English Literature at the University of St Andrews.
When Louise was born, her parents Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh decided against royal titles for their children.
Louise and her younger brother James, 15, are therefore stylised as children of an earl, as Edward was formerly known as the Earl of Wessex.
This is a stark contrast to their cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, whose father Prince Andrew was adamant that they be given royal titles from birth.
This is because Prince Andrew, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left many patronages unfilled when they stepped down as working royals.
Russell credited Lady Louise with being an "excellent choice" for King Charles, should he decide to enlist his niece.
However, the commentator believes that the 20-year-old will be given a sufficient amount of time before having to decide, if that is indeed what she wants.
He exclusively told GB News: "We could, in fact, be seeing the British Monarchy trying what has been done with several others, including the Dutch monarchy and Sweden's.
"Whereby, royals are being given a fairly substantial amount of time at school and at university before they are expected to undertake public duties.
"Louise has been given time to go to university.

"Well, I think it'd be an excellent choice."
Lady Louise is attending the same university that Prince William and Princess Kate went to between 2001 and 2005.
She stayed in St Salvator's Halls of Residence, which is also the same accommodation where the Waleses lived during their first year.
