The Duchess of Edinburgh's daughter is a 20-year-old university student

Lady Louise Windsor is "sparking public interest" with her unique approach to royal life, a PR expert has exclusively told GB News.

The 20-year-old, despite being King Charles's niece, lives an extremely private life in Scotland as a university student.

Growing up as the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II meant Louise had the opportunity to appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony during Trooping the Colour, and join the Royal Family at Sandringham for Christmas.

However, very little is known about Lady Louise, who has chosen not to have a public social media profile.

A keen carriage driver, Louise is frequently seen at events like the Royal Windsor Horse Show and the Sandringham Horse Driving Trials.

She was even joined by a male friend, Felix Da Silva Clamp, earlier this year, which sparked a heavy interest in the young royal's private life.

PR expert Lynn Carratt spoke exclusively to GB News to explain how Louise navigates her privacy, despite being a member of the Royal Family.

She said: "Louise’s appearances at the Sandringham Horse Driving Trials with Felix Da Silva Clamp sparked public interest.

"But her time at university allows her to develop her personal life away from media attention, similar to how William and Kate managed their relationship.

"While she may make occasional public appearances, such as attending the Christmas Day service with her family and occasionally Trooping the Colour, she has the opportunity to live a private life separate from the demands of royalty."

Louise is a student at the University of St Andrews - the exact same institution attended by Prince William and Princess Kate in the early 2000s.

The 20-year-old is understood to make history as the first female royal to serve in the military since the late Queen Elizabeth II.

She is interested in pursuing a career in "the military, diplomacy or law", according to her former LinkedIn page, which has subsequently been taken down.

The Duchess of Edinburgh's daughter is a member of St Andrews University Officers' Training Corps, which provides military training for students.

A source told The Sun that "she talks about being very keen on a career in the military, serving King and country. She is all about the Army Cadets and has fallen in love with it."

As part of her training, Louise will be undertaking Reserve Officer modules designed to fit around her degree, which will instruct her in everything from how to wear a uniform correctly, to leading others in stressful situations.
