Lady Louise Windsor could get a new major role in the Royal Family amid a shortage of senior working royals, a royal commentator has told GB News.
The 21-year-old, who is not a working royal, is currently studying English at the University of St Andrews.
The royal is the eldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the youngest granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzgerald highlighted to GB News that it is possible that the Royal Family needs some support.

Fitzwilliams said: "The royals have to do more work each because there are far fewer of them.
"We still have quite a number of royals but there are only four who are under 70."
"Sophie is 60, so the royals are looking possibly to Lady Louise one day, but nothing is definite.
"It's just a possibility."
Lady Louise is not a working royal

Her mother, Sophie, has taken a more prominent role in the Royal Family, stepping up to support the Princess of Wales in her recovery from cancer.
Fitzwilliams previously told GB News that the Duchess of Edinburgh's support alongside Kate in a "very rocky period" has been "valuable".
He said: "She was tremendous."
