'King William and Queen Kate in 10 years': Burrell winces as he 'finds it difficult to sing God Save King'

Princess Diana’s butler says Britain will have to wait just 10 years for the next reign.
PAUL Burrell has spoken of his discomfort at having to sing God Save the King as he explained the Queen’s death is ‘too fresh.’
The former butler for Princess Diana spoke of his wincing at hearing God Save the King when Prince Charles took to the throne.
Speaking to Dan Wootton on his GB News programme, he said: “ I do find it so difficult to sing God Save Our gracious King after the passing of our dear late queen.
It's too fresh and too new for me.
But I know I have to join this, this gang of people for a short time across this bridge to get to William and Kate, who are waiting on the other side.
I know that Diana would want. She'd want me to do that.
“10 years. I think we'll have to wait for King William and Queen Catherine. And I know that Diana would want me to stay true.
"She'd want me to stand close to William and Kate and help them move their bridge.”
It comes as Princess Diana’s former private secretary, Patrick Jephson made a dramatic intervention into the reign of King Charles arguing that the King still have sins to atone for.

Kensington PalaceHe argued that the King still have to answer for actions surrounding Princess Diana during their marriage and later divorce.
Jephson also admitted that the words God Save the King came to his lips reluctantly.
