King Charles is planning to adopt a new dog for Queen Camilla following the heartbreaking loss of her beloved Jack Russell terrier Beth in November.

Beth had been adopted from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in South London in 2011, with fellow Jack Russell Bluebell joining the royal household the following year.
A royal spokesman said at the time: "A sad farewell to Beth, The Queen's much-loved companion from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home who brought such joy, whether on walkies, helping on official duties, or curled up by the fire."
