King Charles and Queen Camilla have publicly congratulated Rory McIlroy following the Northern Irishman's historic US Masters win.
The Royal Family's official Instagram account reposted a photo of the golfer posted by several high-profile golf accounts, including the Masters and the PGA Tour.
The statement read: "Congratulations @rorymcilroy on your historic win at @themasters."
McIlroy won the 89th Masters at Augusta National and became only the sixth male golfer to complete the career Grand Slam.

The prestigious Masters golf tournament was the last major competition left for McIlroy to complete the modern golf Grand Slam.
McIlroy was making his 11th attempt at completing the Grand Slam.
It is his first major title since 2014.
The Northern Irishman faced off against Englishman Justin Rose in a sudden-death playoff to decide the champion, after they finished tied on 11 under par at the end of regulation on Sunday.

King Charles has previously met the golfer 15 years ago for a "Welcome to Wales 2010 Ryder Cup" dinner at Cardiff Castle.
The King and Queen stepped out on Sunday for the first time since returning to the UK after a successful four-day tour of Italy.
The appearance came just hours before McIlroy began his final round, teeing off at 6.30pm.
Charles and Camilla have attended a Church service at Crathie Kirk in Aberdeenshire.

To mark Their Majesties’ 20th wedding anniversary, which was on April 9, a new piece of music called 'The Weather Of My Being' by Paul Mealor was performed during the service.
The piece comprises three songs, each of which reflects an aspect of love, Their Majesties' support for the environment, literature, and their connection with Scotland.
The royal couple have retreated to their Birkhall home on the Balmoral estate in Scotland to take a short break from royal duties.
The King and Queen departed Italy on Friday following the tour, which has been considered widely successful.
