The Duke of Sussex's relationship with the King has been described as 'difficult' by a royal author
King Charles is facing a dilemma over potentially reconciling with Prince Harry as the move could have a negative impact on his other relationships within the monarchy, according to a royal historian.
One month before this, Harry and his wife Meghan Markle released their Netflix documentary where they divulged even more secrets about the British monarchy.
Prince Harry, who lives in California with his wife and children, returned to the UK in September for the WellChild Awards and requested to stay in Windsor Castle for the duration of his trip.

However, the duke's request was denied due to such short notice given to the Palace.
Dr Ed Owens, a royal author who published After Elizabeth: Can the Monarchy Save Itself?, spoke exclusively to GB News about this incident.
He said: “These reports suggest that the relationship is very difficult between the father and son at the moment.
“What the King has to keep in mind, clearly, is that Harry's presence within Britain is somewhat antagonistic.
“We know that the relationship between him and his brother is particularly fraught."
According to Owens, King Charles is in a tricky dilemma currently because his hands are tied.
The commentator explained: “Anything that Charles has or does on a personal level to try and reconcile the relationship with Harry could have a broader negative impact on his relationship with other family members.
“Because there are clearly members of the family who are not ready to forgive Harry for what he's done.”
