The King and his son are barely on speaking terms but Charles is reported to have time to see Harry in September
King Charles has reportedly set a strict demand ahead of a potential “peace talks” meeting with Prince Harry next month after the Duke of Sussex let slip a number of damning royal insights.
Despite the relationship between father and son wearing thin in recent months, the King and the Duke are expected to have a brief crossing of paths while Harry is in Germany for the Invictus Games.
A meeting between the pair would mark the first time they have seen each other since Charles’s Coronation back in May and the first personal interaction since the release of Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ in January.
Meghan Markle has not been tipped to attend the talks but is set to attend the Invictus Games, taking place in Dusseldorf, with Harry.

PAAccording to a source, Charles has remained “mortally wounded” by Harry and has demanded that his son not discuss “private family business” in the future.
“The King loves his son very much but he has been mortally wounded by what he has done,” an insider told OK!.
“He will always be there for him but draws the line at public slanging matches.
“If the talks take place, the King will make it very clear that there will be absolutely no private family business discussed in public moving forward.”

“The King has a rescheduled official visit to France on September 20 so has a few days to spare in London to meet with his son.

“Staff are trying to fine-tune the details as we speak.”
However, sources inside Buckingham Palace have reportedly “scoffed” at the idea that the pair will reunite physically, according to The Independent.
During the closing ceremony of the games, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to put on a united front, with Harry giving a goodbye speech to the hosting Merkur Spiel-Arena.
Meghan is also tipped to have a role as she will host the 'Lifestories Scene' segment, which sheds light on the bravery and resilience of the competing servicemen and women.
Organisers told The Telegraph that her speech is expected to be a “poignant” contribution and will act as a testament to the event’s ability to transform lives.
