King Charles is set to hold his weekly meeting with the Prime Minster over the phone following his cancer diagnosis.
Buckingham Palace announced on Monday that the King had been diagnosed with cancer in a public statement.
A spokesperson for the Prime Minister said: "We don't in general and we are not going to get into the habit of commenting on the PM's conversations with the King."
"But we have agreed with the Palace in this specific instance to confirm that they will be speaking on the phone later."

The meetings are to discuss Government matters but the details of the conversations are never released to the public.
On Tuesday, Prince Harry and King Charles had a 45-minute meeting at Clarence House following the Duke of Sussex’s arrival in the UK.
The King’s youngest son received an escort from police officers as he made his way to central London after landing at Heathrow airport.
Following the meeting, the King and Queen Camilla travelled to Sandringham.

Buckingham Palace is not sharing any further details on the King's condition.
It comes as the King's eldest son, the Prince of Wales returned to royal duties today.
