King Charles is "fed up" with the drama surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, an insider has claimed.
In the lead-up to Christmas, there have been several reports on whether or not Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will return to the UK, which is said to have "frustrated" the King.
There were also reports about a phone call that occurred between King Charles and his younger son on his 75th birthday.
When approached for a comment, Buckingham Palace refused to comment on a "private" call.
However, all the details surrounding the call were eventually released to different outlets by various sources.
King Charles was reportedly left "fed up" surrounding the constant drama surrounding Harry and Meghan.
An insider told The Times: "It frustrates him that personal issues intrude on the public duty.
"He’d much rather the focus was on his work, not the soap opera of the private life.

It is unclear how the contents of the phone call were leaked.
However, before the call, the BBC was the outlet that reported that it would take place.
Royal commentator Richard Eden questioned how the UK media was able to obtain the details of the private phone call so quickly.
