King Charles delivered a poignant tribute to healthcare workers in his Christmas message, acknowledging the medical challenges faced by the Royal Family throughout 2024.
In his address, the King expressed his profound gratitude to medical professionals who supported him and his family members during their health struggles this year.
The King said: "From a personal point of view, I offer special, heartfelt thanks to the selfless doctors and nurses who, this year, have supported me and other members of my Family through the uncertainties and anxieties of illness, and have helped provide the strength, care and comfort we have needed."
The King's Christmas message was filmed in the historic Fitzrovia Chapel in London, marking the first time since 2006 that the sovereign's festive address has been recorded outside a royal residence.
