King Charles made an appearance at Buckingham Palace as Camilla remained at home battling a chest infection.
The King hosted an international sustainability conference today, welcoming government officials, business leaders and climate organisations to the palace.
Among the UK government officials were Foreign Secretary David Lammy, Net Zero Secretary Ed Miliband and Environment Secretary Steve Reed.
The discussions aimed to increase action on climate issues before the UN climate change conference Cop29, which will be held in Azerbaijan.

The talks included financing the transition to renewable energy, accelerating investment in projects to improve climate resilience, and ending plastic pollution.
The sessions aim to increase action and ambition across these issues before COP29 in Azerbaijan and the conclusion of negotiations on the Global Plastics Treaty before the end of the year.
His Majesty met guests from investors and global government representatives to businesses and environmental organisations representing various industries, including finance, travel, and retail.
Queen Camilla was absent from the event, opting to remain at home.

Earlier in the week, she announced that she had pulled out of all royal engagements as she battled a chest infection.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said: "Her Majesty the Queen is currently unwell with a chest infection, for which her doctors have advised a short period of rest.
"With great regret, Her Majesty has therefore had to withdraw from her engagements for this week, but she very much hopes to be recovered in time to attend this weekend's Remembrance events as normal.
"She apologises to all those who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result."

The Queen will miss the Field of Remembrance tomorrow.
However, she is hoping to be able to attend Remembrance events scheduled for this weekend.
Camilla is expected to join her husband in hosting the Film and TV Charity reception next Wednesday to celebrate the charity's 100th anniversary.
In addition, The King and Queen will attend the Royal Film Performance of Gladiator II, in aid of the charity.
