Princess Kate has been shortlisted for Time Magazine's Person of the Year following her "incredibly tough" cancer battle.
The Princess of Wales, 42, made international headlines this year and stirred a conversation about privacy and health for public figures, according to the publisher.
Princess Catherine stepped back from public duties after the future Queen announced she was diagnosed with cancer in March.
In a boost to her health, the mother of three released a heartfelt video announcing she had completed preventative chemotherapy in September.

In the emotional three-minute clip, shot by trusted videographer Will Warr, the Princess of Wales can be seen frolicking in the Norfolk countryside alongside Prince William and her three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.
Prince Kate described this year as "incredibly tough for us as a family," while William has said that 2024 had been "brutal" for his family and the "hardest year of his life".
The Princess of Wales has since begun a gradual return to public duties as she made major public appearances for Remembrance Weekend and the Qatari State visit.
Catherine also hosted her fourth annual Together At Christmas carol service, a key date she was hoping to recover for.

Other leading figures joined her on the shortlist, including both American presidential nominees, Elon Musk, and Joe Rogan.
Time Magazine has named a Person of the Year since 1927.
The award is given to a person, group, or concept that had the biggest impact, for good or for ill, on the world over the previous 12 month, according to the publisher.
Princess Kate was previously one of the top 100 most influential people in 2013 and emerged as one of the runners-up for Person of the Year in 2011.

The publisher's past selections include Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the "spirit of Ukraine" in 2022, Ebola fighters in 2014, and former US President Barack Obama in 2012 and 2008.
The magazine published their top ten nominees in alphabetical order.
Time will announce the winner on Thursday, December 12.
