The Princess of Wales will likely celebrate Mother's Day with renewed joy as she puts last year's photo editing controversy firmly behind her.
Kate and her family are reportedly looking to "erase" the painful memories from 2024's Mother's Day when the Princess of Wales had to issue a public apology for editing a family photograph shared on social media.
The controversy erupted when major media agencies issued a "kill notice" for the image, citing manipulation concerns.

Just over a week after this incident, it was revealed that Kate had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment.
It is yet to be revealed whether Kate and William plan to share a new image with Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, for their social media followers to enjoy in 2025. However, the decision will be made in just six days.
Royal commentator Jennie Bond claims this year's celebration will be particularly meaningful for the Wales family.
She said: "This Mother's Day is one they can wholeheartedly celebrate as Catherine continues her recovery looking radiant and back to her vibrant self.

Kate, 43, has been gradually returning to her royal duties after undergoing cancer treatment.

During the event, the Princess shared candid thoughts about balancing royal work with motherhood.

"If they are there, I'm sure it will be a day filled with as much outdoor activity as possible: walks and games, cycle rides and picnics," Bond continued to tell the Mirror.

The family celebrations are expected to include heartfelt gestures from the children, with Bond adding: "I imagine the children will be making hand-written cards - with William's encouragement and help."
The royal commentator suggested Prince William might arrange "a tasty, home-cooked, healthy breakfast in bed for Catherine, with some flowers from the garden."
