There have been no further details about Princess Kate’s operation, but it was confirmed to be non-cancerous.
Jobson also discussed the King’s cancer diagnosis and Kate returning into the royal fold once she recovers.
He said: "The King was looking to make the Royal Family more focused on the main four and having two of the star people out of the picture makes that more difficult, so I'm sure she will be welcomed back with open arms when she's well enough to return to royal duties.

"She must be looking forward to that, but she also feels lucky to be able to have this time with the children and to put her recovery first."
While Kate has remained private about her operation and remained out of the public eye, the King has been very open.
Although Charles is not undertaking any public-facing duties, he has been pictured on multiple occasions since his cancer diagnosis and welcomed cameras into his in-person engagements with members of the government.
Yesterday, the monarch was pictured at Buckingham Palace in a meeting with the Chancellor.
