On Mother’s Day, the Princess of Wales and her family issued a photograph of them all together that was taken by William, designed to quell the rumours.

After all, we haven’t seen Kate properly for a while since her surgery and this was meant to show that the Queen-in-waiting was okay.
But sadly, it turned out to have the very opposite effect as Catherine showed us an exercise in Photoshopping which was so badly done that expert photographers around the world scrutinised the picture and pointed out a load of inconsistencies.
It was that bad that six global picture agencies pulled the image from their wires and libraries, thinking that it was a fake or that it had been manipulated.
Princess Charlotte’s wrist didn’t match her sleeve, her hair ended abruptly, Louis’ jumper didn’t line up and his right hand was blurred.
Catherine had a wonky zip and an out of focus hand and three airbrushed, individual hairs, her wedding ring was also missing.
Even the background was dodgy.
The only person to escape Catherine’s enthusiasm was Prince George, bless her heart.
Poor Catherine, why would she ever want to try again? This would put any aspiring student of photography off for life.
The press went to town on her, they were obsessed. It was absurd.
In a rare personal message on X, our future Queen said that she occasionally experimented as an amateur photographer and she apologised for any confusion.

She then made an unexpected public appearance in the face of all the rhetoric and speculation.
People are saying that her PR should have warned her, but perhaps they didn’t have the heart to.
After all, she is just practicing something she loves.
I say, leave her alone. Frankly, I couldn’t work out what the fuss was all about.
In the meantime, the Prince of Wales joined Queen Camilla and other members of the Royal Family at a Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey.

Im this case, an admitted edited phot has resulted in even more conspiracy theories to run amok.
