Princess Kate and Prince William have sent a public message to the Duchess of Edinburgh.
Sophie, who married Prince Edward in 1999, is celebrating her 60th birthday.
The Prince and Princess of Wales posted on social media: "Wishing The Duchess of Edinburgh a very happy 60th birthday today!"
They reposted a message from King Charles and Queen Camilla, which was shared on X and Instagram on January 18.

The post read: "Ahead of The Duchess of Edinburgh’s 60th birthday on Monday, a new picture has been released.
"The photograph was taken at Bagshot Park in January by Christina Ebenezer."
This new picture showed Sophie sitting by a window dressed in a black turtleneck jumper and a white pleated skirt.
The mother-of-two decided to wear her Rosalia 65mm Patent Leather Pumps for her birthday portrait.
