Princess Kate and Prince William introduced an exciting new feature to their social media, just as reports began circling about Meghan Markle's return to Instagram.
The Prince and Princess of Wales posted a "September Rewind" thread on X, formerly known as Twitter, where they listed all the engagements they attended throughout the month.
William and Kate's X account wrote: "Welcome to the September Rewind with The Prince and Princess of Wales."
The X thread listed the couple's trips, including William's visit to Pret A Manger in Bournemouth, their appearance on Mike Tindall's rugby podcast, Kate spending the morning at RNAS Yeovilton, and their commemoration of the late Queen's death.

One royal fan said: "Great to have this review. Looks like an active, rewarding month."
Similarly, another wrote: "Love that you took the time to include all the previous posts highlighting the events in September. Way to go!"

An Instagram account with the handle @Meghan appeared in June

The new social media approach by the Waleses has come about after lots of rumours that Meghan Markle, 42, will return to Instagram.
Harry and Meghan formerly posted on the account @sussexroyal when they were working members of the Royal Family.
It had 9.4 million followers before it was stopped being used in 2020.
Meghan made a cryptic comment about her return to Instagram in an interview with The Cut. She said: "Do you want to know a secret? I'm getting back … on Instagram."

The duchess claimed the decision was made due to the launch of her podcast Archetypes. However, no Instagram posts have been made yet.
An account with the handle @meghan appeared on the social media platform in June, which many fans believe to be owned by the Duchess of Sussex.
A source close to Meghan told The Mail on Sunday: "Yes, that's her. Expect an announcement very soon. She's coming back."
The account, which already has 128,000 followers, has no bio or posts at the moment and its profile picture simply shows pink peonies.
