Princess Kate and Prince William have made a significant change after releasing a health update.

The Princess of Wales has completed her chemotherapy treatment, as revealed in a heartfelt video message shared on Monday evening.


Kate, alongside Prince William and their three children, appeared in the emotional video to update the public on her recovery from cancer.

In the video, filmed in Norfolk earlier this summer, Kate expressed her relief at finishing the treatment, saying: "I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment."

The princess acknowledged the challenging journey, stating: "The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family."

Following the video release, the Prince and Princess of Wales made significant changes to their social media profiles.

Their Instagram account now features a new profile photo of the couple laughing together in a forest setting, taken from the video.

On X (formerly Twitter), they updated both their profile and cover photos with images from the clip.

Kate's words resonated deeply as she reflected on the experience: "The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you."

Kate added: "Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus." She acknowledged that her path to full recovery remains long, but looks forward to returning to work and public engagements in the coming months.

The royal also shared a message of solidarity with others facing cancer: "To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand."
