Princess Kate and Prince William have shown unprecedented openness about their relationship following Catherine's cancer journey, according to sources close to the royal household.
A source told People magazine that the Prince and Princess of Wales are "more open" now and "talk about their relationship together."
The couple's public displays of affection have notably increased, with Prince William recently sharing a heartfelt birthday message to Kate: "To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you've shown over the last year has been remarkable."
Royal biographer Ingrid Seward notes: "William must feel so fortunate that Kate has come through this that he wants to tell the world about that love. It shows the intimacy of them sharing that journey together."

Prince William has described 2024 as "probably the hardest year in my life" as both his wife and father, King Charles, faced cancer.
Princess Kate made a significant return to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London on 14 January, marking her first public entrance since announcing her remission.
The visit, initially scheduled for an hour, was extended by 20 minutes as she met with patients and staff.
During her time at the hospital, Kate offered support to fellow cancer patients, including Angela Terry, who was touched by the princess's "gentle eye contact" and compassionate approach.

The princess also shared encouraging words with patient Rebecca Mendlesohn, saying: "It will get better. There is light at the end of the tunnel. You're in the best hands."
Throughout 2024, Kate had attended regular chemotherapy sessions at the hospital through a secluded entrance following her cancer diagnosis.
