The Isle of Mull is Scotland's fourth largest island with approximately 3,000 residents, while neighbouring Iona has just 170 inhabitants but welcomes 130,000 visitors annually.
Upon arrival in Tobermory, Kate and William will visit Aros Hall, a vital community hub that serves as the heart of the town.
Built in the late 19th century, Aros Hall hosts numerous community activities including a weekly producers' market, sewing club, lunch club and the island's only soft play area for children.
The royal couple will also tour the Tobermory Producers Market along the scenic harbour, meeting local food producers, crafters and artists.

To coincide with their visit, the Royal Foundation will announce a new partnership supporting two community spaces across Mull to foster vital social connections among residents.
Following their visit to Tobermory, the royal couple will travel to Croft 3 on Mull's west coast to explore sustainable farming and hospitality.
This working croft and restaurant was recently recognised with the 2024 RIBA Reinvention Award for its low-carbon renovation of a formerly derelict building.
Kate and William will tour the 50-acre property, including meeting the resident Hebridean sheep and selecting fresh produce from the gardens for the day's menu.

Croft 3 emphasises sustainability, serving food grown on-site or sourced from local producers, and hosts regular community dining events including seafood and curry evenings.
Before departing, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis' parents will meet local community members who regularly visit the croft.
On the second day, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay will visit the Ardura Community Forest to meet with the Mull and Iona Ranger Service.
The Rangers play a crucial role in conservation, biodiversity protection, visitor management and education across the islands.

PADuring their visit to the forest, Kate and William will join Ardura Acorns, one of the island's only early-years outdoor learning groups.
This programme provides seasonal outdoor activities for children aged 0-5 and their carers, focusing on nature-based learning through nature trails, den building, animal tracking and storytelling.
The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales will announce support for the Mull and Iona Ranger Service during the visit.
This funding will ensure the continuation of their vital work in conserving and championing nature across the islands.
The royal couple's engagement highlights their commitment to environmental education and community wellbeing in rural settings.
