Buckingham Palace confirmed on April 11 that the King and Queen will attend the Easter Matins Service on April 20 at St. George's Chapel within Windsor Castle.

The palace stated that the royal couple would be "accompanied by members of the Royal Family" for the traditional holiday church service.
Royal fans have suggested that Princess Kate might be among those in attendance, as she regularly joins the Easter gathering with Prince William and their children.
The Princess of Wales did not attend last year's Easter service following her cancer diagnosis announcement.
Kate's last public appearance was on St Patrick's Day when she joined the Irish Guards at their holiday parade as honorary colonel of the regiment, marking her first time attending the event in the role solo.

After battling cancer in 2024, Kate started the year with a series of engagements related to her royal work, both solo and alongside Prince William.
She announced in January that she is now in remission.
Prince William and Prince George were spotted in Paris on 9 April supporting Aston Villa against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-final.
