Prince William and Princess Kate are "not worried" about Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie "getting closer" to their estranged family members Meghan and Harry, according to a royal commentator.
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughters have reportedly remained in contact with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ever since they left the UK and moved across the pond to the US.
Speaking to GBN America, Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan said: "I find this interesting because I wonder which camp this is really coming out of, because I think among the worries that William and Kate have, that might be further down the list.
"We just learned that Kate will probably not be making a public appearance again for the rest of 2024. King Charles is, of course, in the middle of his cancer battle.

He added: "They sense that Beatrice and Eugenie feel that, as virtual outcasts themselves, they have far more in common with Harry and Megan than with any other part of the family.
"The situation is made worse by the fact that the senior royals’ main asset – Kate herself - is effectively out of action while she continues her treatment for cancer.
"Last week, Princess Eugenie issued a statement highlighting the importance of "supporting family" after she attended a garden party hosted by Prince William.

Crowds waited in the Buckingham Palace gardens under umbrellas for the Royal Family members to arrive ahead of the party.
The Princess of York said: "Come rain or shine, I was delighted to support my family yesterday to meet some special individuals at the Buckingham Palace Garden Party who have gone above and beyond to support their local communities and the country."
