Princess Kate 'making late night calls to Prince Harry' claim torn to shreds

William and Kate currently have a strained relationship with the Sussexes after Prince Harry launched several attacks on the Royal Family in his autobiography Spare.

Schofield said: "My contacts at Kensington Palace have told me that this story has no truth to it...The Princess of Wales is not making late-night calls to Prince Harry.

"A significant amount of William’s unhappiness toward Harry revolves around Harry and Meghan discussing Catherine so openly to Oprah and within [Harry’s memoir] ‘Spare.’

"Catherine is very respectful of Prince William’s feelings and wouldn’t go behind his back to execute anything."

She told Fox News: "William and Catherine do not receive regular updates on Harry and Meghan, so Kate would not be aware of any difficulties Harry was having to advise him to keep his chin up."

Last month a royal insider claimed Meghan Markle was "furious" with Princess Kate.

The Duchess of Sussex and the Princess of Wales are not currently on speaking terms.

A royal insider has claimed that Kate feels terrible that Prince Harry has little contact with the Royal Family and blames Meghan for the current frosty relationship.

The insider said: "Kate feels terrible that the royals and Harry are at this current impasse with so little contact between them".

They added: "She blames Meghan for it almost entirely and the longer it goes on the more it upsets and frustrates her".

However, this left Meghan furious with the Princess of Wales according to the source.

They told Heat magazine: "Kate's let it be known to the Palace aides who still speak to the Sussexes that she thinks it's an extremely poor show the way Harry's being treated.

"But Meghan is furious and thinks Kate has no right getting involved in her marriage.

"She would never dream of interfering between her and William."
