Dublin Airport poked fun at Kate’s picture by badly photoshopping an image of actor Cillian Murphy’s head onto a person leaning out of a plane holding an Irish flag.
Dublin Airport's Twitter post read: “Our new social media intern Kate did a great job capturing Cillian Murphy’s return to Dublin Airport this morning after his Oscars success.”

The princess released her apology for the edited photograph on X stating: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing.
"I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused.
"I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C"
Following her apology, there have been calls for the Prince and Princess of Wales to release the unedited photograph.
But Kensington Palace has since confirmed that it would not be reissuing the original unedited photograph of Kate and her children.
The anti-monarchy group Republic have used their social media platform to push for the Princess of Wales to release the picture.
They said: “It’s a press office statement that doesn’t really explain anything. Hope you’ll be asking for the original.”
LATEST ROYAL NEWS:
Royal commentator Katie Nicholl explained that although digital manipulation and airbrushing goes back many years, the timing of the edited photo allowed the internet to “run away with itself.”
Speaking to GB News she said: “Had you not had days of speculation on where the Princess of Wales was, she hasn’t been seen in public for 76 days, the internet just almost ran away with itself, things just got out of control, and then she was papped, and some people don’t even think it was her that was papped, but papped being driven by her mother in a car which was the first time she had been seen since Christmas.”
The Princess of Wales underwent an abdominal operation in January and has been recovering at her Windsor home since.
Kensington Palace have confirmed that the princess is not expected to return to working royal duties until after Easter.
