Princess Kate has made a significant change to royal protocol after her battle with cancer gave her "a new perspective on everything".
Kensington Palace will no longer announce the Princess of Wales's outfits to the press before a royal engagement.
The palace had shared the details of garments since 2011 when she married into the Royal Family.
Princess Kate is making a gradual return to royal duties after announcing she would be temporarily stepping back from work in March last year following her cancer diagnosis.

Shortly after her first solo royal engagement this year, where she publicly visited the hospital where she was treated, the mother-of-three delighted fans by announcing she was in remission from cancer.
The Princess of Wales revealed that her health battle had given her "a new perspective on everything".
A palace source highlighted that the royal wants to ensure the focus remains on the "issues, people and the causes she is spotlighting", instead of her outfit.
The source told The Sunday Times: "There is an absolute feeling that it [the public work] is not about what the princess is wearing."

"But do we need to be officially always saying what she is wearing?
"No. The style is there but it's about the substance."
A friend of Kate's also explained that the princess found it "enormously difficult" that the central focus was on her clothes, particularly when she first began her royal duties.

It is understood that Kensington Palace may issue details of Kate's outfits on the most important occasions but not for other public duties.
Princess Kate met royal enthusiasts on two public visits when she made her first trip to Wales since September 2023 on January 30.
During the visit, it was announced that Catherine was the new patron of children's hospice Tŷ Hafan, taking over from King Charles and following in the footsteps of the late Princess Diana.
Later in the day, Kate visited Corgi, a family-run textiles manufacturer focused on socks and knitwear, where the Princess of Wales had an adorable encounter with a three-year-old girl.
