Princess Kate's surprise visit to the National Marine Aquarium will be featured on TV tonight.

The Princess of Wales paid a surprise visit to the Plymouth aquarium in July 2022, where she also joined the 1851 Trust and the Great Britain SailGP Team.

Kate will appear on the programme Secrets of the Aquarium this evening, despite her visit to Plymouth happening 17 months ago.

Still known as the Duchess of Cambridge at the time, Kate wore a pair of high-waisted shorts by Holland Cooper, a striped jumper by Erdem and her white Superga trainers.

They captioned the post: "Join us TONIGHT for the FINAL episode of #SecretsoftheAquarium!

"There’s a surprise visit from the Princess of Wales, Xav meets his childhood hero, the new seahorse tank gets stuck in a door and Florence the shark has a pregnancy test!

"Tonight's episode will be on at 6.30pm."
