Princess Kate has shown "hope for new beginnings" by "replacing" Princess Diana's ring, a style expert exclusively told GB News.
The Princess of Wales released an emotional video earlier this week confirming she had finished her chemotherapy treatment.
Eagle-eyed royal fans immediately noticed Kate's engagement ring, which previously belonged to her late mother-in-law, was nowhere to be seen.
Instead, Kate had "replaced" the jewel with a new ring, which many fans have speculated is a gift from Prince William.
The mother-of-three was also seen wearing the new ring in a video to congratulate Team GB after the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Tobias Kormind, the co-founder and MD of 77 Diamonds, Europe’s largest online diamond jeweller, spoke exclusively to GB News about the symbolism behind Kate replacing her engagement ring.
Kormind has suggested the new ring is an "eternity" ring, meant to symbolise the love between William and Kate.
He said: "Kate's eternity ring made another appearance, replacing her engagement ring.

PA"Her new ring is a wide eternity band set with alternating sapphires and diamonds and seems to be around three to four carats total. A similar ring at 77 Diamonds starts from about £4,000."
Prince William proposed to Kate in 2010 with his late mother's engagement ring, a blue sapphire ring that was synonymous with Princess Diana.
The style expert has argued that Kate's new ring "evokes" Diana's former jewel.
Kormind explained: "The ring evokes Kate's sapphire engagement ring, which once belonged to Princess Diana and was interestingly chosen by the late princess from a catalogue.

"Kate’s new ring may be a symbol of hope for new beginnings, with an emotional tie to the past.
"Eternity rings represent everlasting love, and this style of ring echoed the sentiment of the moving video, where Kate was seen spending time with those closest to her."
The Princess of Wales announced in March that she was battling cancer and beginning a course of preventative chemotherapy.
Kate's new ring, as Kormind suggests, could be a sign that the princess wishes to move forward with Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, after a very difficult year.
