The Duchess of Sussex was introduced to the Royal Family in 2017

Princess Kate "shudders and giggles" about Meghan Markle, according to Omid Scobie's upcoming book Endgame.

The book will be released in its entirety on Tuesday, November 28, examines the Royal Family's feuds and scandals over the last few years, in what has been described as "a penetrating investigation".

In the meantime, the French magazine Paris Match has managed to serialise sections of the book.

In one section, translated from French, Scobie discusses the Princess of Wales meeting the former Suits actress in 2017.

According to the author, Prince William would never have accepted a Hollywood actress as his wife due to their different values.

Kate agreed with her husband, as Scobie suggested the princess immediately saw Meghan as her rival.

The 42-year-old author wrote: “[Kate] spent more time talking about Meghan… than with Meghan.”

This quote is allegedly from a close friend of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Scobie also claims that the two royal women have not directly communicated since the end of 2019.

The author continued: “Every time she hears about Meghan, Kate shudders and giggles."

Kensington Palace, Buckingham Palace and Archewell have refused to comment on these claims by Omid Scobie.

Prince Harry and Meghan became engaged in November 2017, and tied the knot six months later.
