Princess Kate has been encouraged to "keep active" at Adelaide Cottage as she prepares for her royal return, according to a health expert.
The Princess of Wales was hospitalised for 13 days in January following planned abdominal surgery.
Kensington Palace chose not to divulge any other details about the operation, but did note it was "successful".
A health expert spoke exclusively to GB News to explain how Kate, 42, is likely handling her recuperation at Adelaide Cottage, where she lives with Prince William and their three children.

In an exclusive interview with GB News, Dr James Thompson from Simply Aesthetic said: "Depending on the severity of abdominal surgery, patients are typically advised to get up on their feet and walk in the early stages of the recovery.
"We would expect that Kate is encouraged to do the same and will keep active during her stay at Adelaide Cottage."
The Princess of Wales has been described as "doing well" in her recovery, according to Kensington Palace.
They have continued to reiterate that Kate will not return to royal duties until at least after Easter.
A spokesperson said: “We were very clear from the outset that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and Kensington Palace would only be providing updates when something was significant.”
Thompson stressed that the mother-of-three will not be doing any tiring activities as she recuperates from her surgery.
He claimed: "We do not imagine she will be doing any heavy lifting or vigorous exercise at this time.
"We expect Kate to be closely monitored and on a strict diet to assist with her recovery."
Adelaide Cottage has no live-in staff, according to reports, meaning that aides must commute to Windsor.
Prince William, 41, has been taking care of his wife as he has made a staggered return to royal duties.
Their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, attend the nearby Lambrook School in Windsor.

One authorised picture of Princess Kate has been released to the public so far during her recovery.
On Mother's Day, Kensington Palace shared a photograph of Kate with George, Charlotte and Louis.
However, the picture was later recalled by six international photo agencies over suspicions it had been doctored.
Kate later took to social media to apologise for editing the photograph.
