The Princess of Wales injured her hand trampolining in September

Princess Kate appears to have suffered another hand as she was seen with her fingers bandaged during an engagement in Yorkshire today.

The Princess of Wales met with Disability Rugby League players at the Allam Sports Centre.

Princess Kate also joined a training session facilitated by members of the world cup winning England Wheelchair Rugby League squad during Rugby League Inclusivity Day.

The hand injury did not stop the royal from getting stuck in as she scored a try during the match.

The Princess of Wales originally injured her hand in September.

It is unclear whether the bandages were to protect the existing injury or if Kate has suffered a new injury.

Last month, Kate injured her hand after playing with Princes George, Louis and Princess Charlotte on a trampoline.

During a royal engagement the Princess of Wales declined to put on a glove due to the injury.

She said: “I can’t even put that on because I’ve got two fingers stuck together."

In September, Princess Kate watched the World Cup group-stage match between England and Argentina at the Stade de Marseille as part of her role as patron of the Rugby Football Union.

The Princess of Wales is the patron of England’s Rugby Football Union while Prince William is the patron of the Welsh Rugby Union.

Kate replaced Prince Harry in the role after the Duke of Sussex stepped down as a working member of the Royal Family.

In February, Prince William provided an insight into the rugby rivalry he has with his wife.

The Prince of Wales was speaking ahead of a Six Nations match between England and Wales.

When asked if he enjoyed the match, Prince William responded: "Not a lot. We’ve been talking about it all weekend."

He added: "I’ve been getting non-stop grief all weekend about that."
