The Princess of Wales has demonstrated her appreciation for a brand which has ties to Queen Elizabeth
Princess Kate made a subtle nod to the late Queen Elizabeth on her recent visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London on Tuesday.
The Princess of Wales carried a Asprey 'Morgan' handbag, which has ties to the late monarch.
Kate paired the luxurious £2,995 accessory with a bespoke Blaze Milano coat and Russell & Bromley pumps during her interactions with patients.
Bobby Gill, director of VIP sales at Asprey, told MailOnline: "Asprey is incredibly honoured that the Princess of Wales wore the Morgan leather handbag on her outing to the Royal Marsden Hospital."

The sleek handbag features soft grain leather and a suede interior, with Kate opting for the top-handle version rather than the newer chain-strapped design.
Gill added: "She's a loyal supporter of British brands and in the case of Asprey embodies the future of that special historical tie that the brand holds with the royal family."
Asprey's royal connections stretch back to 1862, when Queen Victoria granted the company its first royal warrant for dressing cases, travelling bags and writing cases.
The prestigious brand has since held royal warrants from every British monarch, including Queen Elizabeth II.

Asprey expanded into luxury travel goods during the early 1800s railway boom after originally specialising in silk scarves.
King George VI made history as the first British monarch to grant Asprey a warrant as jewellers and silversmiths during his fourth year of reign.
Queen Elizabeth II later renewed these warrants and extended them to include goldsmiths.
The Princess of Wales has demonstrated her appreciation for the brand's heritage, having showcased five pairs of earrings, two necklaces and two bags from their collections.

Among Asprey's most notable royal pieces is the historic Maple Leaf Brooch, which was gifted by King George VI to his wife, Queen Elizabeth - later the Queen Mother - before their 1939 royal tour of Canada.
Queen Elizabeth II inherited the symbolic piece, wearing it frequently during Canadian visits and related events in Britain.
Continuing the brooch's royal journey, the Queen later loaned the prestigious piece to Kate, who wore it during her Canadian visits in 2011 and 2016.
The royal connection was further cemented when Queen Mary commissioned a five-strand pearl necklace from Asprey, which was later presented to Princess Margaret on her 18th birthday.
