Princess Kate's brother makes feelings clear on the sister's message to Prince Louis on milestone occasion

The special footage offered a glimpse into the making of the young prince's official birthday portrait, which was released earlier today.

In the video, Louis could be heard asking: "I can jump down from here?" as the seven-year-old liaised with the photographer, Josh Shinner.

James Middleton showed his support by liking the post.

In the official portrait, posted earlier in the day, Prince Louis, seven, could be seen smiling while sitting on a piece of wood.

The young prince was missing his two front teeth, a natural occurrence for children under the age of 10.

Louis is the only person to feature in the montage.

Royal enthusiasts flooded the comment section to show their excitement towards the youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, who is rarely seen outside royal engagements.

The King and Queen quoted the original message on the Royal Family social media page, writing: "Happy Birthday to Prince Louis!"

The photograph of the young prince was taken earlier this month by Josh Shinner in Norfolk.
