Princess Kate's younger brother has made his feelings clear on the Prince and Princess of Wales' latest move while they continue their short break from royal duties.

Prince William and Princess Kate are currently taking a temporary break from royal engagements during their children's Easter break from school.

It reinforced Kate's message of prioritising her health and family amid her gradual return to work following a year-long battle with cancer.

Prince William, 42, enjoyed a trip to Paris with George, 11, to watch Aston Villa take on PSG in the Champions League quarter-final during the holiday period.

In the latest statement from the future King and Queen, the royals shared a touching tribute to their beloved family dog to mark National Pet Day.

The royal couple's team posted a charming photograph of their cocker spaniel, Orla, who recently appeared in Princess Kate's Mother's Day video.

Alongside the image, they included a heartfelt message: "Celebrating the animals who bring so much joy, companionship and love to our lives this #NationalPetDay."

James Middleton, who gifted Orla to the couple, supported the message by liking the post.

The princess's younger brother also left a comment on the post.

He wrote: "Beautiful in every way [dog paw emoji]".

Kate and James have a close relationship, with the gift of Orla demonstrating the close family ties between the Middletons and the Wales family.

The Wales family welcomed Orla into their home in 2020 when she was eight months old.

She was bred by James Middleton, who gifted the black Cocker Spaniel to his sister's family.
