The Tsleil-Waututh Nation, which translates to "People of the Inlet", is a First Nations band government in British Columbia, Canada.

In a statement by the Sussexes, the trip was described as "special".

The visit is said to have underscored the significance of nurturing youth and investing in the future of Indigenous communities.

Prince Harry spoke about the commonalities between the First Nations and Invictus communities, stressing the need for recovery through connection, empathy, and mutual support.

The Duke of Sussex then met with the Tsleil-Waututh youth ambassadors, who are dedicated to preserving their culture and heritage.

Prince Harry took part in a traditional blanketing ceremony, "a profoundly moving moment" and a "highlight" for the duke, according to the statement.

Later in the day, Harry attended the Invictus Games swimming heats.

The duke was spotted happily posing for selfies and joking with supporters of the South Korean and Danish teams.

It comes as Harry's children appeared in a video posted to Meghan Markle's social media, showing Archie and Lilibet making cakes for Valentine's Day.

The mother of two also penned a romantic message to her husband under a photo of the Californian-based royals sharing an intimate kiss.

Prince Harry has remained in Canada and is set to return to the US following the closing ceremony on Sunday.

Meghan left the nation after she spent five days in Vancouver and the ski resort of Whistler with Harry to mark the seventh edition of the Invictus Games.

The former actress's departure was pre-planned and mirrors her exit from the 2023 event in Germany.
