Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has revealed that he visited a garden centre as he appeared to buy a Christmas tree for Beatrice and their three-year-old daughter, Sienne.
Princess Beatrice and her husband will welcome their new baby next year, as the Princess of York will spend the Christmas pregnant.
The property developer shared a photo with his more than 150,000 followers of lines of trees to his Instagram story.
The early morning trip had no caption but featured a sign reading “Ornamental trees” to his left.

Edoardo is also the father to his eight-year-old son Christopher, affectionately known as 'Wolfie'.
The stepson of Beatrice's mother is Dara Huang, former fiancé of Edoardo.
Beatrice has a close relationship with her stepson, with Dara previously telling Harper's Bazaar: "Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think: 'The more, the merrier'."
She added: "I feel lucky to have such positive people around him, who really embrace him."
