Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has chimed into world news just 24 hours after stepping out with his wife, Princess Beatrice, on Easter Sunday.
The 41-year-old property developer reposted a message from Pope Francis on X (formerly Twitter), made just one day before his death at the age of 88.
The post read: "I would like us to renew our hope that #peace is possible!
"From the Holy Sepulchre, the Church of the Resurrection, where this year #Easter is being celebrated by Catholics and Orthodox on the same day, may the light of peace radiate throughout the Holy Land and the entire world."

The Pope's official page has been renamed to "Apostolica Sedes Vacans", which translates to "The Apostolic See is vacant" (the period when the papacy is unoccupied.)
Pope Francis's death has left the Holy See without a leader.
As a result, the administration of the Church is being entrusted to the College of Cardinals, with the Camerlengo (the treasurer of the Holy See) overseeing the temporal affairs.
The period will be marked by specific rituals and practices, including changes to the coat of arms of the Holy See and prayer for the election of a new Pope.

Edoardo's mother-in-law, Sarah Ferguson, has also paid tribute to the Pope.
The duo, along with Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and Jack Brooksbank, joined King Charles and Queen Camilla at St George's Chapel on Easter Sunday.
The Duchess of York wrote on social media: "No better example of total humility in kindness and compassion.
"Thank you for leading us not just with words, but with your unwavering service to humanity."

King Charles led the royal tributes to Pope Francis this morning, writing: "My wife and I were most deeply saddened to learn of the death of Pope Francis.
"Our heavy hearts have been somewhat eased, however, to know that His Holiness was able to share an Easter Greeting with the Church and the world he served with such devotion throughout his life and ministry.
"His Holiness will be remembered for his compassion, his concern for the unity of the Church and for his tireless commitment to the common causes of all people of faith, and to those of goodwill who work for the benefit of others. His belief that care for Creation is an existential expression of faith in God resounded with so many across the world. Through his work and care for both people and planet, he profoundly touched the lives of so many.
"The Queen and I remember with particular affection our meetings with His Holiness over the years and we were greatly moved to have been able to visit him earlier in the month. We send our most heartfelt condolences and profound sympathy to the Church he served with such resolve and to the countless people around the world who, inspired by his life, will be mourning the devastating loss of this faithful follower of Jesus Christ."
