The Princess of York has made headlines this week with her candid admissions

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has made his feelings clear after Princess Beatrice's announcement.

The Princess of York is collaborating with her friend, Alice Naylor-Leyland, to release a new baby shower collection.

This comes only a few days after Beatrice's eye-opening article, where she discussed giving birth to her premature daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose.

Naylor-Leyland shared photographs on Instagram alongside the Princess of York to make the announcement.

She captioned the post: "It has been both a pleasure & a great honour working with my dear friend Princess Beatrice on our new Baby Shower Collection in aid of @bornecharity.

"I’m so proud of the awareness @beayork has brought to Premature Birth & I’m delighted we were able to create this together celebrating both Motherhood & Friendship."

Edoardo, 41, liked the Instagram post in a strong show of support for his wife.

He lavished praise on his wife over the weekend after Beatrice's insightful article was published in Vogue, detailing the "overwhelming fear" about giving birth to Athena.

The royal baby, born on January 22, weighed just four pounds and five ounces.

Edoardo wrote on Instagram: "So much pride for my beautiful wife, who has bravely shared our story of Athena’s early arrival.

"Also for her support and patronage for the incredible organisation @bornecharity, which provided us with invaluable help during that challenging time."

Princess Beatrice was made the patron of Borne, a charity devoted to helping end premature births, earlier this month.

Commenting on her new role, Princess Beatrice said: “The work that Borne is undertaking is something that is incredibly close and personal to me following the recent birth of my daughter.

"Every year in the UK, 60,000 babies are delivered too soon, with little information or research as to why this is.

"That is why I am really looking forward to supporting Borne and its programme of groundbreaking research, which I hope will help thousands of parents and children in the future.”
