Carole Middleton prepares for major milestone with Kate, Pippa and James by her side

Carole's upcoming birthday holds special significance as it coincides with Kate's successful completion of treatment, giving the Middleton matriarch an extra reason to celebrate.

With just over two weeks until her birthday on January 31, Carole's celebration will mark a positive beginning to 2025.

The milestone comes as a bright spot for the family, who faced one of their most difficult years in 2024, marked by Princess Kate's abdominal surgery in January and subsequent cancer diagnosis.

In previous social media posts through her Party Pieces account, Carole expressed her particular fondness for the start of the year.

"It's no surprise I've learned to love January; it's the start of a new year, a time to put healthy habits in place, and it's my birthday month—so there's every good reason to celebrate with loved ones!" she wrote.

The caption was alongside a photo of herself holding balloons.

January holds special significance for the Middleton family, with both Kate and Carole celebrating their birthdays during the month, on the 9th and 31st respectively.

Last year's celebrations were overshadowed by Princess Kate's hospital admission on January 16 for planned abdominal surgery.

At her recent carol service at Westminster Abbey, Kate revealed she had no inkling at the same event in December 2023 of what the coming year would bring.

While plans for Carole's 70th birthday celebrations have not yet been announced, her past milestone occasions offer hints at potential arrangements.

For her 60th birthday in 2015, she enjoyed a lavish celebration on the private Caribbean Island of Mustique, complete with pink champagne, a jazz band and fireworks.

The island holds special significance for the family, having hosted another celebration in 2014 attended by six-month-old Prince George.

However, following the events of the past year, the family may opt to stay closer to home.

Their £4.7million Berkshire residence, Bucklebury Manor, could provide an ideal setting with its 18 acres of grounds, seven bedrooms, and five reception rooms.

The family home also boasts additional amenities including a swimming pool, tennis court, library and drawing room.
